There are four key terms you need to understand about your potential RV is:
- Dry Weight- The trailer’s weight before cargo, propane, batteries, and water.
- Loaded Wet Weight- Actual weight when packed.
- Tongue Weight- How much of the trailer’s weight is pressing down on the back of your vehicle.
- GVWR- maximum safe operating weight of the RV. This number should never be exceeded.
